FAQ

Will my insurance cover your procedures?
Most plastic surgery procedures are considered cosmetic and therefore are not covered by insurance. If, however, the surgery is done to correct a medical condition it may be covered. Please contact your insurance provider for more details.

The following procedures are often covered by insurance plans.

  • Abdominoplasty – Is covered if the excessive skin causes back pain, hernias or skin rashes. Report these symptoms to your family physician so that they are documented.
  • Breast Augmentation – Is covered if done to correct a congenital difference in the size of the breasts or to correct a size difference due to disease or injury.
  • Breast Reduction – Is covered if it is done to correct a congenital difference in the size of the breasts or to decrease the size of very large breasts that cause back, neck, or shoulder pain. Male breast reduction may be covered as well.
  • Blepharoplasty – Correction of drooping upper lids is covered if the patient’s ability to see is impaired or if the lids curve inward and rub against the eye.
  • Carpal Tunnel Repair – Is covered.

How much do the procedures cost?
Pricing depends on the specific procedure. Please contact us to set up a consultation.

What are the recovery times for your procedures?
All recovery times depend on the patient and the type of work the patient does. Some patients need longer and some will have shorter recovery times.
